2024
Contribution towards the refurbishment of a Community Health and Education Centre run by TOBFC in the region of Mswiswi, Tanzania. The Centre will focus on basic health needs, counselling, family planning, diabetes care and support, HIV testing and support, wound care and rapid testing of endemic communicable diseases.
2023
Contribute towards the cost of Boxing Show for Wandsworth Boxing Club. The aim of the club is to support the youth in the local community through boxing training programmes This discipline helps them to focus, set goals for themselves, improve their health and fitness whilst building self confidence and enhancing their social development.
Contribution towards purchasing a KICKIT Mobile Library and books for The Olive Branch For Children (TOBFC) in Tanzania. This Mobile Library service is available to 15 communities and over 2000 students every week, providing access to storybooks and textbooks. As a result, there has been an increase in literacy rates, school attendance and academic outcomes.
Contribution towards The Montessori Outreach Program run by TOBFC. The funds helped to refurbish 3 schools serving 250 students per year. Provide new and replacement Montessori materials for 21 schools. Provide professional development and support for teachers. Provide storybooks for the schools.
2022
Teacher Training and Empowerment of 10 NGO based Teachers and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) for 570 children from underprivileged communities in the age group of 6-14 years in the most deprived area of Pune.
Rent-to-Own Beekeeping initiative in the village of Mswiswi, Tanzania, providing vulnerable individuals with income generating projects through beekeeping whilst contributing to re-forestation and expansion of environmentally friendly practices.
Contribution to Kubuni Expansion in the Mbeya Region of Tanzania, encouraging and assisting individuals to make a living off their art, craft or sport, providing resources to start or expand their businesses and the space or resources to realise their innovative ideas.
2021
Two additional water wells in Mbeya, Tanzania to provide clean drinking water for the displaced inhabitants. Water from the wells also used for domestic animals and crops during the dry season.
2020
Integrated village development project with Rotary Club of Pimpri benefitting 605 inhabitants. This will stop villagers migrating to cities and creating slums. Muskaan is contributing $15,000 to a total project value of $100,000.
Projects with Olive Branch of Children : Drilling of water wells in Mpolo, Madundas and Matota regions of Tanzania to provide clean drinking water for 7000 inhabitants. Funding tuition centre and projects for beehive production and making fuel brickets from bamboo waste. This will create employment and revenue for the local youth.
2019
Continue installation of clean drinking water filtration systems, Libraries and E-Learning facilities in rural parts of Maharashtra, India. To date installations in 650 schools benefitting 110,000 students. Muskaan has contributed £100,000 towards a total project value of over £200,000.
2018
Development of Vocational Training Centre (s) with local NGO’s working in slums of Pune. These will provide training to assist with youth employment.
Teachers training programme to train teachers in the deprived areas.
Funding towards further development of Peace Home in Tanzania to provide health center and teaching facilities.
2017
Projects to continue installation of water filtration systems, e-learning software and science labs in the most deprived areas of Maharashtra.
School infra development projects in Goa.
working with the Olive Branch of Children, funded the building of a 4200sq ft Peace Home in Mbeya Tanzania. This building will provide accommodation and teaching facilities for AIDS orphans, an infant care room and health center that will serve local communities. We have contributed £20,000.00 towards the total cost of the project.
Funding towards the cost of an Industrial washing machine to Ukraine Orphanage St. Nicholas House of Mercy. Ivano Frankivsk. Orphanage House with over 20 Children.
2016
Prestigious Melghat Project with the government of Maharashtra & Chaitanya Software Technologies providing E-learning facilities, solar back-up, learning books & sports equipment to schools in deprived areas.
Over the period 2012-2016 projects completed to the value of £170,000 helping 518 schools and over 90,000 students. Muskaan contributed £90,000 & £80,000 from local sources.
Projects also started with “The Olive Branch Children” in Tanzania, funding 3 new mobile libraries for children in remote areas.
2015
Education programme for Aids Orphans in Mbeya, Tanzania has started in May 2015. Muskaan is working with Mbeya Juvenile Orphans and UBON Safari as our partners on the ground. Muskaan has funded the purchase of education equipment and salary for two teachers and a helper. The existing church hall is being used as a teaching base for 45 students and the plan is to expand this to 250 by 2016.

2013
Continue installation of filtering plants for clean drinking water in schools in the deprived rural areas of Pune and Raigad. Further 50 schools selected by the Rotary organization at an estimated cost of £47,000. Muskaan has pledged to contribute £25,000. The remainder will be raised from local sources.
2012
Installation of filtration plants for clean drinking water at 40 schools in the rural areas of Pune & Raigad districts. The schools currently do not have clean drinking water and children are often ill due to impure water. The total cost of the project is over £30,000 and includes the cost of filtration plant and five years follow up service. The plant is supplied by a local supplier “Membrane Filters” at below cost. Muskaan contributed £23,000 towards the project and the remainder from local sources. Over 20,000 children and their families have benefited from the clean drinking water installation.
2010
35 seater school bus to the value of £24,000 supplied to Patashibai Ratanchand Manavkalyan Trust’s blind School – Panjarpol Bhosari, Pune 39. This was done as part of a matching grant project with Rotary International. Funds collected by Muskaan were equaled by local Rotary clubs in UK and India. The children needed to travel to school, hospital and other training centers. The existing transport they had was 12-seater, very old and dangerous.
2009
Supply of solar lights and hearing aids to the value of £3500.00 to Surud Mandal’s Dhayri Deaf and Dumb School – Dhayri, Pune Sinhagad Road, Pune 411051 Maharashtra India. The solar lights provided security for the children. Hearing aids extremely useful for education, day to day activities, language and speaking ability improvement.
2007
Supply much needed Braille printer to the value of £3000 to Patashibai Ratanchand Manavkalyan Trust’s blind School – Panjarpol Bhosari, Pune 39, Maharashtra India. 100 under privileged blind students from all parts of Maharashtra study in the school with the help of Braile.
